The stargazer lily will fill your home with the most glorious scent – maybe you already know that. The long part leaning to the right is called the pistil – the female part. The brown parts surrounding the pistil are the stamen – the male parts. Those brown hats topping the stamen are called the anther. As the flower ages, this anther sprinkles all over the place, making a mess. The scent is worth it though. Not to mention the absolute beauty of this flower.
