Two Pelicans Hanging Out

$12.50$200.00

I used a relatively generic title for this image, but what I was really thinking was: are they flirting? are they woeing each other? It kinda looks that way, doesn’t it? Pelicans don’t mate for life, though they are seasonally monogamous. Next season, they may or may not couple up with the same mate, and they gather at the local mating site to choose.

These two look to like they have known each other. Usually, the larger of a mating couple is the male.

These two bring peace and calm to me.

The image is offered in print, on canvas, as a downloadable to be printed up to 20-in x 30-in, and a 500-piece jigsaw puzzle (that water is challenging) with a finished size of 18-in x 24-in.
